Are your pieces one of a kind?
Many are. Handmade resin naturally creates small variations, and individual pieces may use unique colors, inclusions, or arrangements.
Do you take custom orders?
Yes. Custom colors, themes, sizes, and certain styles can be requested, depending on the piece.
Are resin pieces food safe?
Most Moss & Moonlight pieces are decorative unless the listing specifically says otherwise. Resin trays, dishes, and containers should not be used for food preparation or direct food contact unless clearly labeled as food safe.
Can resin items go in the dishwasher or microwave?
No. Resin pieces should be hand washed gently with mild soap and cool or lukewarm water. Do not place them in the dishwasher, microwave, or oven.
Can resin melt or warp?
Resin can soften, warp, or discolor when exposed to high heat. Keep pieces away from hot pans, candles, radiators, direct flames, and prolonged exposure to strong sunlight.
Will the colors change over time?
All resin may naturally amber or change slightly over time, especially with frequent UV exposure. Keeping pieces away from prolonged direct sunlight will help preserve their color.
Are bubbles or small imperfections normal?
Yes. Every piece is handmade, so small bubbles, slight color variations, or tiny surface differences may occur. These are part of the handmade process and do not usually affect the function of the piece.
How should I clean my resin item?
Wipe it with a soft damp cloth or hand wash gently with mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, alcohol, acetone, and harsh chemicals.
Are resin pieces breakable?
Yes. Resin is durable, but it can chip, crack, or break if dropped or struck against a hard surface. Handle pieces with care.
Can I leave resin items outside?
Resin items are best kept indoors unless the product listing specifically says they are suitable for outdoor use. Weather, moisture, heat, and UV exposure can damage or discolor them.
Are the colors exactly the same as they appear online?
Colors may look slightly different depending on lighting, photography, and screen settings. Handmade pieces may also vary slightly from one another.
Can you recreate a sold item exactly?
I can often create something similar, but handmade resin patterns, color blends, and inclusions cannot always be duplicated exactly. Each piece will have its own variations.
